Greek Yogurt Recipe - Healthy 2011 with the Mediterranean Diet

Greek Yogurt Recipe - with the Mediterranean Diet

Wake up in the morning the healthy way.
Greek yogurt
is in every grocery store with
many brands
to choose. The health benefits of the Mediterranean
diet have caused America to take notice and replace
their former brand to Greek yogurt. Personally,
my favorite authentic yogurt is FAGE Greek yogurt
for its thick, rich consistency.
Start your January 2011 right every morning by
enjoying Greek yogurt with a quick recipe
for Santorini Sunrise. Recently this recipe was
a grand prize winner for the Daisy Cottage Cheese and Lifetime Fitness
healthy eating recipe. In this recipe, the creamy yogurt is topped with healthy
ingredients such as walnuts, cinnamon, and honey.

Santorini Sunrise Breakfast
Serves: 4
Ingredients
4 cups Greek plain yogurt
¼ cup walnuts, chopped
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons honey
½ cup raspberries
½ cup blueberries

Place yogurt in serving bowls and sprinkle walnut mixture on top.
2. Drizzle with honey and fresh raspberries and blueberries.
